Buyers need agents to help them with their real estate purchase.  However buyer agents are everywhere you look, so how do you know if the one you chose is going to deliver the home of your dreams.

To ensure this happens in a timely manner, you as the buyer should know a few things, that will help you get there faster and with an agent that truly provides value to your real estate purchase experience.

Make sure your agent understands your level of motivation to buy.  Clearly define all financing issues, are you qualified, approved or just starting the process. Establish expected time lines, price points, needs and wants.  These perimeters will also help you establish a criteria for determiningstreet scape the value your agent brings to the process. How much of your criteria was the agent able to deliver during the process?

Does your agent have a strategy, are they building a path to your purchase? Agents have to have a process and not a willy-nilly approach to finding your home. A good agent will educate you about priority issues and possible problems to watch for while on the path.  The purpose for this is to keep you, the buyer comfortable and engaged in the process of buying a home.

Problems and issues can arise when buying a home. Lots of times this is due to you, the buyer feeling like your expectations have been discounted, in some way.  Make sure you are in good communication with your agent to avoid this.  During the process the agent should be helping you manage your expectations with facts, customer service and being available.

Remember we the agents work for you the buyers and sellers.  The relationship is a bit of a partnership and that requires, good, clear, factual, honest and timely communications.  The transaction happens as a result of a seller, a buyer, and possibly 2 Realtors, working together and closing the sale.

NOW, LETS GO BUY A HOME!!!!!!!!!
